The check of the AC unit went fine. It appeared to be thorough and was done on time and as expected. My only problems were the thermostat was not turned back on to heat (it’s a cold Spring) and the door to the furnace room was left open.

I called on a Friday for non-emergency service and had an appointment for Monday. I know at some point I will probably need to replace my old furnace, but until then, I will trust Pick Heating & Cooling to take care of it.
I arrived on site to perform an inspection of a Carrier air conditioning unit. During the inspection I found that the unit's capacitor had worn out, causing it to provide energy to the unit. I replaced the capacitor and the unit was running at full functionality at the time of departure.
I arrived on site to perform an inspection of the customers air conditioning unit. During the inspection I found that the unit's capacitor had blown out, resulting it it not working correctly. I replaced the capacitor and the unit was running at full functionality at the time of departure.
I delivered a portable AC to a client for temporary cooling.
I completed a diagnostic service call on an air conditioner. I determined the unit needed Freon. I recharged and explained options with the customer.
I completed the diagnostics and found contactor to be bad and shorted out causing the control board to short. I replaced contactor with the customers permission and the is system running normal.
I found that the condenser was not running at all. The pressure switch was not allowing voltage to pass through. There was a clog in the liquid side. Due to age and cost to repair the system, I recommend replacing the Lennox air conditioner. Customer has opted to replace at this time.
