I found the issue to be the control board. I also noticed that the blower motor might fail soon. I quoted a new control board and blower motor to the customer. Customer has decided to replace only the control board at this time. I will return once the part is ordered to install.
Upon arrival for customer having an issue turning schedule off on thermostat and it being very dim, I adjusted thermostat settings for customer. Unit operational at departure.
I completed a diagnostic on a Bryant gas furnace. Determined that the pilot light was out. I re lit the pilot light. Cycled the unit. I performed a combustion analysis. Furnace passed. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. I recommend that if the furnace has further that due to the age replacement should be consider.
I performed a diagnostic on a 27 year old York 80% gas furnace. Upon arrival, I found furnace not operational. After further diagnostic, I discovered that the blower motor has failed, it is a 29 year old furnace, recommend furnace replacement. Customer is all set for a Tuesday morning installation. Furnace not operational at departure.
I returned to customers home because of a gas smell. I found small leak on gas line union. Union was not tightened all the way, I took union apart made sure threading was good. Everything looked okay, I reassembled everything and leak tested again. Union no longer leaking tech bubble tested twice after addressing leak. I checked over rest of line multiple times and everything looked okay.
