Upon arrival the 2006 Trane system was tripped on high limit , over heated, After further diagnostic discovered that the furnace is oversized for the home it’s a 80K btu on a 1100 square foot home, no matter what is done with that furnace it will continue to over heat due to it be being oversized,
Upon arrival the 2003 Lennox furnace was not operational, After further diagnostic discovered that the blower motor and capacitor have failed, also the inducer motor is very loud and over amps at initial start then drops back down, inducer motor will also fail in the near future, made customer aware that we won’t be able to check anything else until after the blower is replaced, There could be more underlying issues with system, Recommend system replacement due to age and cost of repairs,
Upon arrival the 2016 system was operational. T-stay set to heat at 70 degrees room temp at 70 degrees , The error massage on t-stay was not an error it was a reminder to replace air filter, Replaced filter with customer provided filter and cleared reminder on t-stat, System operational at departure.
Upon arrival there was no power at the 2020 Carrier Gas Furnace furnace . I pulled high voltage wire and noticed a cut in the hot wire, did not have enough to cleanup and rewire, Went to lows and got 15feet of high voltage wire , Replaced high voltage wire from disconnect switch to furnace, I Tested system in both heat and cooling, System operational at departure.
Upon arrival customer stated that she had a leak in basement that she had called a plumber out for and the plumber told her that the leak was coming from furnace, Took apart condensation drain it is wide open, checked evap coil pan for any damage or clog it’s all good no obstruction, Ran a/c for at least 35min to try to get it to leak and found absolutely no leaks from system,
