Upon inspection, I found the control board is faulty. I informed the customer I would contact the office to have them order one and would come back to replace it and continue diagnostic work. System is not operational at departure due to control board issues.
Upon arrival for callback on 2020 Carrier furnace, I found customer burns a lot of candles and has never had duct work cleaned as far as she knows. System is running as intended and tech believes cause of filters getting dirty is due to the aforementioned things.
I completed a diagnostic on a Goodman electric furnace. I determined that both sequencers are bad on the heat kit. I gave an estimate to replace the sequencers. I recommend that due to the age, condition and cost of repairs that the unit be replaced. Client authorized the replacement of the sequencers. Parts to be ordered.
